I'm not a professional artist or anything. I just paint for fun. I'm actually still trying to master the whole "making things look 3D" thing. But, since I'm moving, I'd like to pass them on to someone else. I have enough stuff to move as it is. Also, I really want to buy the Glee soundtracks so...I could use the money.
All the paintings are $15, plus $5 shipping in the US. If you want one but don't have $15, let me know and maybe we can strike a deal. I'd just like to find them a good home!
They're all for sale on Etsy, which you can see here.
Also, they're all inspired by things I've read recently, but someone informed me that it might be against copyright law to say that in the description on Etsy, so you'll just have to guess what book they're from! It'll be fun!
Oh, also, here's a cool story: So I painted this painting (below), inspired, obviously, by John Green's book The Fault in Our Stars. And then a lot of people said they liked it, so I decided to sell it and donate the money to the This Star Won't Go Out Foundation. And then it sold like three days later! And THEN it was featured on the Penguin Teen Australia website, so that was super cool. I wonder if...maybe...John Green himself saw it? I don't know. He hasn't said anything about it, and I'm sure people post fan art all the time. But still, that would be cool. Either way, I'm glad that I was able to raise some money and, honestly, get rid of the painting, because I already have too much stuff to move.
