Saturday Snapshot: The Wall of Westminster Abbey

Whoa!!! Two posts in one day. This is probably a sign that there's homework somewhere I should be doing...yep. (See my earlier post on my major book dilemma here.)

Anyway, I just discovered this really cool blog link-up thing called Saturday Snap Shot, hosted by At Home With Books. I love this, because I love photos and I have quite a few cool ones I'd like to share.

So...here's one for today.

This is probably one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. I took it at Westminster Abbey in London. Don't think I'm trying to convert you with this or anything. Even if you're a non-religious person, I think it's a nice thought and an interesting shot. And, photography-wise,  I like how the gate in the foreground breaks it up. I spent a good amount of time trying to get this shot.

Here it is again. This one isn't as good,  I think, because you can see some random stuff in the corner:

And here is the full text, without interruption

And here is one with the gate more in focus.

And that's all! Thanks!

  1. That's a very cool shot. I like how the iron gate frames the engraved stonework behind it.

  6. Lovely pic The way the gate covers some of the print makes it read "may god rant to the living race" - it made me smile anyway :-)
